Recent reviews describe a practice doing a lot of routine companion-animal care across a pet’s whole life, with multiple owners mentioning long-term relationships with the same vet (particularly Mark) and support during end-of-life visits. Reviews also include a specific complaint about pre-op communication and billing expectations around a cat neutering visit where surgery did not go ahead.
Based on the website and latest reviews, owners mention
Mark (vet; role not explicitly stated, but repeatedly referenced as the clinician seeing pets)
Owners describe him taking time to let nervous or elderly pets settle in the consult room (e.g., giving a 15-year-old dog “space and time”).
Multiple long-term clients credit Mark with helping senior cats live well into old age, and being gentle on final visits.
Wider team (unnamed)
One cat owner having a sterilisation surgery says the team explained the process clearly and were reassuring at drop-off and pick-up.
A contrasting review describes not being told key possibilities in advance (that neutering might not be possible due to an undescended testicle), and only receiving information at collection.
4.8 stars from 516 reviews. - Long-term client relationships: several reviewers mention using the practice for many years (including 20+ years) for multiple pets.

Have used this practice for many years now and find them absolutely fantastic. Always take very good care, and are kind to both owners and animals. Have brought all our dogs there from puppies and throughout their lives, and when it came to end of life, they couldn’t have tried harder or been more empathetic. Will never go anywhere else!

I brought my 6-month-old cat here for neutering on my day off. Nothing was explained beforehand; I only received information when I came to collect him. They did not clearly inform me that neutering might not be possible due to an undescended testicle, and the visit was charged as if multiple steps were completed. No surgery was performed, and my cat was sedated with multiple strong medications, coming home disoriented, agitated, and difficult to manage. I also spent money on taxis and my time, but nothing was done. They did not recommend another clinic that could perform the procedure, showing they were not prepared to handle this situation. It is important to note that if a cat’s testicle has not descended by 6 months, it is very unlikely to descend later, making neutering essential. I felt misled about what the visit would involve and will be taking my cat to another vet for proper care. I hope the clinic improves communication and procedures so other pet owners do not face the same experience.

Honestly this is the only vet clinic our dog Sugar has EVER willingly walked into. Mark is just a super human with an incredible knack for understanding our dogs needs. She is 15 and he makes sure she gets the treatment she needs and deserves each time she visits. We really feel like he knows her and gives her the space and time to settle in when she's in his room. Its just so reassuring to know she is in the hands of someone who not only his stuff but also cares. Couldn't recommend the place more.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Amazing Team, Great Care for Hazel (Titi) Today I brought my cat Hazel (Titi) in for her sterilisation surgery, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the care and professionalism of the entire team. From the moment we arrived, everyone was warm, reassuring, and truly compassionate — not just toward Titi, but toward me as well. They explained everything clearly, made sure I felt comfortable, and treated Hazel with incredible gentleness. The surgery went very well, and she’s already doing great at home — eating, drinking, and resting calmly. Huge thank you to the whole team for their kindness and support. It really made this experience so much easier for both of us. I would absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for trustworthy and loving care for their pets.

I’ve been bringing my dog here for a while, and they’re always incredibly helpful, professional, and caring. The staff take the time to answer all my questions and really make sure my dog is comfortable. Appointments are easy to book and you can tell they genuinely care about animals. I always feel confident my dog is in good hands here. Highly recommend this vet clinic to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate care!

I adopted a 17-year-old cat, and Mark and the other vets helped her have a brilliant life past 20. I always appreciated their care and consideration, and this was true up until my final visit to Dundrum a few weeks ago. I was struck by the care that I received and the gentleness that little Munchie felt on her last trip. It all meant so much on a very sad day. Thank you from both of us

My cats have been treated her for over 20 years now. Mark and his team are wonderful caring staff. Smokey photo is a stray with lots of problems but with the attention of Mark he is now living his best life in my bathroom
