A truly wonderful vet that takes great care of your pet. Our dog was recently diagnosed with a congenital problem that unfortunately led to a poor prognosis with a severely limited lifespan. If it wasn't for the timely diagnoses and intervention by vet David and Rachael, we wouldn't have had the time we had left with our dog. With their help, support and guidance it gave us more time together. Everything is well explained, to the point but delivered with empathy and compassion. Also, as much as it's difficult to discover the truth, their honesty is valued. All the staff there are excellent and attentive. Highly recommended and I wouldn't go elsewhere with my pets. Philip

Daisy is a 6.5-year-old French bulldog, a very well-behaved little girl. Unfortunately, she has been living with a lifelong skin condition, atopic dermatitis. From the very beginning, when we started coming to Ark Vetcare Kilmacud, every veterinarian did their best to care for Daisy in the most appropriate way. Eventually, we found our veterinarian, someone who explained everything clearly: what was happening and why. That was the moment we truly understood that all of Daisy’s symptoms were connected to this condition. Our vet respected the fact that we were using an alternative dietary and feeding approach, even though he didn’t always fully agree with it. Working together, with his professional guidance, Daisy has been living almost symptom-free for months at a time, enjoying a happy little dog’s life. Something I could never have imagined a few years . Today, I feel immense gratitude that Daisy can live such a high-quality life. Thank you so much, David!

Very helpful receptionists but sadly my experience here was not good. I felt they lacked expertise, had poor communication in relation to cost and sadly were too busy the day my dog went in for a biopsy He died 2 days after he went in for the biopsy.they have him a double anesthetic the day he went for a biopsy and came out hardly able to walk. I don't feel they were accountable for their wrong doings at al. I feel the lack of expertise and lack of transparency made saying goodbye much harder. I told them that I thought my dog was dying, the vet could not apparently see this just less than 24 hours before he passed, telling me his gums were looking okay. I'm still baffled how I could see he was dying and an experienced vet could not. Still waiting on official report via email as I did want to go in to their establishment in person again.

Been using Ark here for the last 13 years for our dog. Always very helpful, informed and open to discussion on all the treatment options. Very good staff in all aspects of the business. A year later I’m updating this review to acknowledge that David, Sinead, Chloe and all the dedicated team in Kilmacud go far beyond what you would normally expect to look after not just the pets in their care but also the human families that they live with. Our best buddy Ollie, a Japanese Spitz recently passed away recently and I cannot praise all of the commitment care and comfort that Ollie and we received from David and the Team. Thank you and I cannot recommend the practice enough
